ABOUT KATE MACLEAN
My creative writing and content creation skills were developed at the BBC where I worked for 11 years as a writer and director; creating scripts for radio and TV on programmes such as What the Ancients Did for Us (BBC-2), Culturefix (BBC-4), Chelsea Flower Show (BBC-2), On Screen (World Service Radio) and more. I subsequently became a lecturer in English at the University of Lincoln for international graduate and undergraduate students before taking a degree in Medical Herbalism for which I gained a first class degree and was given the Phytochemistry Award (2016) for my writing. My range and the tone of my writing is diverse; from light, snappy and humorous to factually focused and academic.
